Novus community projects play a pivotal role in helping to transform the lives of those at risk of offending and people whose path to a crime-free future continues ‘through the gate’.
Working in partnership with employers and Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs), we offer a purpose to those whose lives have been plagued by illegal activity by improving their confidence and employability.
Community Rehabilitation Companies are responsible for the positive re-integration of offenders back into the local community. Together with CRCs, we work with local and national employers to effectively support the rehabilitation of those want to turn their lives around, helping them to pursue a future free from crime and re-offensives.
This community re-integration gives offenders a sense of achievement. The self-belief they gain helps them to succeed in education and the world of work, which in turn enables them to make an important contribution to society.
Novus’ resettlement teams at HMP Onley, HMP Highpoint and HMP Wormwood Scrubs has partnered with Strive, which delivers an Employability Plus programme as part of a range of resettlement interventions.
We extend our market-leading education provision beyond the prison walls to help those going 'through the gate' to lead a crime-free life, and our community partners play a significant part in this process.
By joining forces we can extend our services to even more people who are at risk of reoffending, giving them a feeling of self-purpose and offering them the opportunity to make a positive contribution to society.
Our work with the likes of the National Probation Service in Approved Premises, the Ministry of Justice and the Skills Funding Agency hands learners the best chance to find work and embark on a law-abiding future.
We are always open to new and innovative ways to extend our reach and transform the lives of learners 'through the gate', so if you are interested in partnering with us please get in touch.Partner with us
