Our partnerships with visionary charities and innovative organisations play a pivotal role in extending our services beyond the prison walls.
Through such crucial collaborations, Novus can help to transform the lives of even more people who are at risk of offending, and those embarking on a journey back to a crime-free life ‘through the gate’. Our high quality offender education, training and employability services offer fresh hope and purpose.
Alongside a diverse network of local and national employers, our rehabilitation programs and re-integration projects promote softer skills amongst offenders, with a strong focus on employability.
Partnering with National employers and community partners we’re able to help set individuals on a positive, crime-free path upon release.
We believe that the work towards rehabilitation and preventing re-offending doesn’t stop at the prison gate, and we continue to partner with a range of employers, organisations and charities in this area.
Our partnerships have experience in a wide range of areas and provisions, including programmes with the National Probation Service and offenders living in Approved Premises, and the delivery of educational provision at charities like Save The Family. We’ve also worked within the Isis Centre alongside the Women’s Turnaround Project, helping to address issues that affect the lives of female offenders, including drug or alcohol abuse and unemployment.
The skills, knowledge and confidence which offenders gain from Novus programs and partnerships reduces the risk of re-offending and gives them the opportunity to thrive in the world of work.
